Where our customers requirements cannot be met by our extensive standard product range we offer our unrivalled 'Design and Build' solutions.

Our technical team will examine and diagnose a particular application and then recommend the most appropriate solution, optimised for performance, reliability, user friendliness and value for money.

Examples of our design and build solutions are shown below.

UV 3000W Reel to Reel Curing System

For application and curing of UV lacquer on a narrow metal band. Incorporates 2 x 1500W UV lamps mounted vertically within the curing chamber either side of the metal band. Reel to reel process, variable speed and variable UV light intensity. Daily operation since November 2007.

 

UV 3D Curing Tunnel

For drying of ink on plastic containers. Incorporates 8 x UV 1000W flood lamps. 2 step power regulation, UV bulb error indication. Daily operation since January 2005.

 

 

UV Curing Conveyor System

For UV curing of conformal coating on PCBs. Incorporates 4 x UV 400W bulbs (2 x Iron doped metal halide, 2 x Mercury). Variable UV light intensity, variable conveyor speed - overall length 2000mm, conveyor width 300mm. Daily operation since May 1999.

 

UV Bridging Systems

Arc lengths from 100mm to 2000mm. Pneumatic or electrical shutter system. Power outputs up to 240W/cm. Heat management options, including quartz IR filters and dichroic reflectors. Infinitely variable power control. Adjustable reflector geometry.
