UV blacklight art special painting techniques and optimum choice of UV lighting enable the production of a variety of different types of effect:

Single Image

UV fluorescent paints give vivid results even when the painting is viewed only under ambient light. However when the finished image is washed with ultraviolet black light then it glows as if by magic.

Dual Image

Day to night scenes - viewers see the day scene under normal lighting and then the night time equivalent appears when the image is bathed in UV blacklight. Great sunrises and sunsets can be created by gradually varying the UV and white light intensity using dimmer switches.

3D Images

UV fluorescent paints permit the creation of a much greater depth of field than is achievable with conventional paints.

Invisible/UV Revealing Images

These images are completely invisible under normal lighting and revealed only under UV light.

Trompe-l'oeil'

Using combinations of the above permits the creation of stunning visual tricks.

Artwork is custom designed to client commission. It can be painted in situ directly on to walls and ceilings or studio produced on flats, canvas or other lightweight substrates for use as portable back drops.

We're completely flexible in our approach. We offer the full painting and lighting service from design through to installation or tailor the package to suit client requirements. Our extensive range of UV lighting fixtures means we can light anything indoors or outdoors. Our high powered UV 400W flood lights, combined with dimmers and scrollers, give us the ability to create really stunning dual image effects at the flick of a switch.
